“This is an act of utter cowardice by Boris Johnson who is trying to stop Parliament doing its job and debating the biggest issue facing our country and holding him to account. If our local Tory MPs Alister Jack and David Mundell fail to take a stance against this it will show their support for a No-Deal Brexit, despite knowing perfectly well that will have a devastating impact on our local economy. It would expose the fact that they are more interested in keeping their own jobs rather than their constituents jobs, many of whom will lose theirs as a result of a No-Deal Brexit.”
