A review of the press coverage this week.

The Galloway Gazette ran its front page on the shocking report that came out this week which showed that more people in Dumfries and Galloway are paid less than the living wage than anywhere else in the country.

The Stranraer and Wigtownshire Free Press covered the sad end to the Wickerman festival in the area, and how the rising cost of policing events is hammering our economy.

The Annandale Observer picked up the story about the saviour of Penman engineers and the jobs growth the firm are looking to implement. The plant which was due for closure was saved by a takeover thanks to the Council and community supporting the bid.

And finally the Annandale Advertiser ran my column discussing the work I have been doing in parliament over the last couple of weeks.
