Smyth4South – Working hard for Dumfries and Galloway
Dumfries and Galloway really matters to me. It is where I was born and where I have always lived.
I’m passionate about our region and want what’s best for people living here.
I stood for the Scottish Parliament in 2016 because I believed Dumfries and Galloway was too often Scotland’s forgotten region in the eyes of the Government.
I was proud to be elected and since then I’ve worked hard to be a strong voice for our region.
But I need your support to continue to stand up for Dumfries and Galloway.
Voting is underway to select Labour’s regional list candidates for the South of Scotland- and I’m asking you to use your FIRST preference votes to re-select me.
I’m the only local candidate from Dumfries and Galloway standing for Labour on the South of Scotland list. So I need EVERY vote from our local party to make sure that Dumfries and Galloway continues to have a Labour voice in the Scottish Parliament.
I will fight to ensure that the next Parliament is a COVID recovery Parliament- not one distracted by another divisive referendum.
With your support- your FIRST preference votes- I’m determined to ensure Labour wins again here in Dumfries and Galloway- and across South Scotland.
I know this is a tough time for our region. My priority as your South Scotland MSP remains supporting our community to get through this pandemic. If you or anyone you know needs support or help on any issue, please get in touch.
